Entrepreneurship - Lunch & Learn Series 2013: “Bank Financing - When is it Right for Your Business?”

 
The East Valley Entrepreneurial Center at MCC has the honor to present Mark Roberts on 10 April 2013.  Mark has extensive experience in corporate lending. He is presently  with Alliance Bank of Arizona where he functions as the Treasury Management Sales and Corporate Banking Manager. His subject is of prime importance to small and medium size businesses as funding is essential to the success of any business venture.

Bank Financing:  When is it Right for Your Business? 


·         At what stage traditional bank financing is the right choice versus other capital options (asset-based lending, finance companies, SBA, equity, etc.)?
·         Why businesses need working capital financing (to support growth – cash cycle).
·         How bank financing can be a very effective tool to support growth.
·         What bankers look at to determine if they will extend credit.
·         Complete a brief one page small business credit analysis form.

Entrepreneurship: Lunch & Learn Series: Funding Assistance to Export


The East Valley Entrepreneurial Center (EVEC) at Mesa Community College (MCC) in Mesa, AZ continues to promote entrepreneurship via their programs and faculty support. The "Lunch and Learn Series" have been created to educate new and seasoned entrepreneurs in areas of interest to continue to grow their businesses. 

Last week we had an excellent presentation by Craig Jordan, Lender Relations Specialist with the SBA. Participants received thorough details on the ins and outs of funding both via SBA support and from private lenders.   
This week we have another presentation to indulge our participants learning on funding assistance to export their products:

Entrepreneurship: "Lunch & Learn" Series Spring 2013 - Mesa Community College


The East Valley Entrepreneurial Center (EVEC) at Mesa Community College (MCC) in Mesa, AZ continues to promote entrepreneurship via their programs and faculty support.
The EVEC has launched this semester, Spring 2013, the "Lunch & Learn" series to offer students and the community an opportunity to learn and gather information essential to the success of a start up and / or a well established small enterprise. Participants can enjoy their own "sack lunch" while enhancing their knowledge of entrepreneurial issues.  Our distinguished speakers are experts and professionals in a variety of areas.  From expert entrepreneurs like Elaine Birk-Mitchell owner of The Bra Recyclers, to officials in government funded organizations like the Small Business Administration (SBA).
The events take place most Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 pm at the Southern & Dobson Campus of Mesa Community College in building BP 43A Room BP 5.
